Acutally there is not much difference except that pulissery generally makes use of seasonal fruits like Pineapples, Nendram Pazham/Plantain, Mangoes, whereas vegetables like Yam, Ash gourd, Cucumber, Papaya, Pumpkin,etc are added to Moru curry. Grind together coconut, curd, turmeric powder and ginger into a smooth paste. Cook pineapple pieces along with little water, green chillies, salt and turmeric powder. Once it is cooked, add the ground mixture.

Instructions to make Nenthrapazham Moru Curry:
  1. Cook nenthrapazham cubes with turmeric,salt and little water.Cook till water dries up and nenthrapazham is soft.
  2. Heat oil in another pan.Splutter mustard seeds and fenugreek seed.Add green chilli and curry leaves.Then simmer the flame and add red chilli powder,turmeric powder and hing/kayam.(don't burn the powders).Saute quickly and add the cooked nenthrapazham cubes.Mix well.Now add curd and enough salt.Mix well.Nenthrapazham Moru Curry is ready to serve.

Cook pineapple pieces along with little water, green chillies, salt and turmeric powder. Once it is cooked, add the ground mixture. Heat oil in a small pan. Splutter mustard seeds and fry dry red chilies, curry leaves and fenugreek seeds. Switch off when the fenugreek seeds turn brown.
