  8. Prepare few Karivepaku/curry leaves

Instructions to make Upma:
  1. Cut & ready the ingredients
  2. 2 spoons oil on pan, with high flame
  3. Add all ingredients execpt tomato mirchi in pan. Let it fry
  4. Take 1 small glass upma rava
  5. Add tomato & mirchi
  6. Add 2.5 small glasses of water. Let it boil on high flame
  7. Reduce flame and add upma rava into pan & stir thoroughly on high flame
  8. Keep a plate on it, and let it cook on low flame for 10-15 mins.
  9. Before last 5 mins, open the plate and stir upma except for the bottom layer
  10. After switching off stove, keep the pan intact for 5 mins to let it settle (for maadu)
