  1. Pressure cook moong dal along with 2 1/4 cups water,little turmeric powder for 2 to 3 whistles.
  2. Pressure Cook the vegetables beans,carrot,potato,peas for one whistle and drain it on a strainer.
  3. Wash Poha and add 2 1/2 cups water and keep it aside for 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a thick bottom pan on medium heat. Here I have used cooker.Once oil is hot add mustard seeds.After it splutters add red chilli,curry leaves and hing.Add cooked vegetables.
  5. Now add tamarind extract from soaked tamarind.Allow it to boil a bit.Now add salt and bisi bele bath powder.This Bisibele bath powder recipe I have already posted in cookpad.
  6. Now add cooked moong dal to it. After it boils for around 2 minutes add soaked Poha and stir it. Cook it for 4 minutes on medium low flame.
  7. Add chopped coriander leaves and Ghee. Mix well.
  8. Avalakki Bisi bele bath is ready to eat.Serve it with cucumber raita.
