  15. Make ready 3 garlic cloves
  16. Make ready 1/2 inch " ginger paste
  17. Get 2 dry red Kashmiri chillies
  18. Make ready 2 tbsp butter
  19. Take 2 tbsp oil
  20. Get 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  21. Get 2-3 cloves crushed
  22. Make ready 1 tsp red chilli powder
  23. Get 1 tsp garam masala
  24. Get 1 tsp dry fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
  25. Get 1 tsp sugar
  26. Get to taste Salt
  27. Get 1 cheese cube grated
  28. Prepare 1 tbsp malai/fresh cream

Add rest of the ingredients and knead into dough like consistency. Malai Kofta is a popular Indian side dish prepared with Paneer aka Cottage Cheese. Steps to make Cheese Kofta Curry:
  1. To prepare creamy gravy: Soaked cashewnuts halves in hot water for 10 minutes. Grind in mixer with soaked water to smooth creamy paste. Keep aside.
  2. In mixer add chopped onion pieces,garlic cloves, ginger piece and dry red Kashmiri chillies pieces. Grind to smooth paste. Keep aside.
  3. Grind chopped tomatoes to make smooth puree. Keep aside.
  4. In kadhai/ pan add & heat butter and oil. Add spicy onion paste and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add tomato puree mix well. Add salt and turmeric powder and cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Add cashewnuts paste, little water,mix well and cook for 5 minutes. Add red chilli powder, garam masala, dry fenugreek leaves,sugar,salt,grated cheese,mix and cook for 2 minutes. Add cream and mix well. Off the flame.
  7. To prepare cheese stuffed koftas: peel and mash boiled potatoes. Add corn flour and salt. Mix well. Add chopped fresh coriander leaves. Mix well and make 8 equal size balls.
  8. Stuff each potato ball with cheese, cover and make oval or round koftas.
  9. Deep fry in hot oil on medium flame till crispy golden brown.
  10. Pour hot creamy gravy in serving bowl. Arrange fried cheese stuffed potato koftas. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and fresh cream. Serve/ Relish Delicious Hot Cheese Kofta Curry with parathas,naan.
