It is a popular Indian vegetarian dish in which potato paneer balls are served with a delicious, smooth, rich & creamy gravy. It is served with butter naan, roti or with any flavored rice like jeera rice. This potato kofta recipe is so good and really easy to prepare. I usually serve it as an hors-d'oeuvre when we have people over.

Steps to make Potato creamy kofta curry:
  1. Take all the spices and take finely crushed onion, tomatoes and ginger garlic green chilli paste. Take cream in a bowl.
  2. Boil 5 potatoes peel and mash it. Add 4 tsp maida, 2 tsp corn flour, 1/2 tsp haldi, salt, 1/2tsp garam masala and 1 tsp red chilli powder.
  3. Bind it well and make balls.
  4. Fry it till brown colour.
  5. Now take kadhai add 2 tsp oil add jeera, tej patta, chakri ful,2 red chillies. Now add hing, ginger garlic green chilli paste. Saute it. Now add onion cook it for 3-4 mins in low flame.
  6. Now add all spices i.e., 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp dhaniya jeera powder, 1/2 tsp haldi, 1 tsp red chilli powder, salt to taste, 2 tsp water mix and cook it till oil released. Now add tomato puree cook it well for 5 mins in low flame then add 1 glass water. Boil it and cook it for 5 mins. Turn off the flame.
  7. Now add the koftas. Garnish it with cream.
  8. Serve it with roti and rice.

This potato kofta recipe is so good and really easy to prepare. I usually serve it as an hors-d'oeuvre when we have people over. If you would like to serve it as a curry I recommend doubling the amount of yogurt and adjusting the other ingredients to taste. These need to be eaten immediately while the kofta are still hot and crunchy. Drain the vegetables and transfer to a large bowl.
