  2. Heat a cooker.Add 2 - 3 tablespoons oil/ghee/butter.
  3. Add 1/2 tablespoon cumin seeds & 1/2 fennel seeds.Let it crackle.Add curry leaves.
  4. Now add chopped green chilli and garlic.Saute it for 1 minute.After that add chopped onion.
  5. Add 1/2 tablespoon salt and turmeric.mix it well
  6. Add 1 tbsp coriansder powder and 1/2 tablespoon garam masala mix it well.
  7. Now add chopped tomato.saute it for 2-3 minute until become soft.
  8. After that add chopped carrot,cauliflower and potato.Add green peas too.mix it.
  9. Add washed 1/2 cup rice,1/4 cup washed toor dal and 1/4 cup masoor dal.mix it.
  10. Now add 3 cup water.stir it.close the lid
  11. Cook until 4_5 whistle comes on medium flame.after that turn off the flame.Our delicious and healthy Mixed Veg Khichdi is ready to serve.
