Take a heavy bottom pan or pressure cooker and add some oil put cumin seeds pinch asafoetida curry leaves onions and saute for 2 min then add tomatoes all masalas like salt turmeric chilli powder coriander powder garam masala and add chopped vegetables and mix well.
  2. Add rice to it and 2 cups of water and close the lid and if pressure cooker then make 2 whistles.Remove the lid and serve by garnishing it with fresh coriander leaves.
