Poha is one of the most favored of current trending foods in the world. It is enjoyed by millions daily. It’s easy, it is fast, it tastes delicious. They are fine and they look fantastic. Poha is something that I’ve loved my entire life.

The ingredients needed to make Poha:
  1. Make ready 3 cups poha
  2. Prepare 1/2 cup boiled peas
  3. Prepare 1/3 cup boiled florets of cauliflower

  7. Prepare 2 tbsp peanuts
  8. Make ready 2 tbsp oil

  13. Take 5-6 curry leaves

Similar to how Idli and Upma are traditional breakfast recipes of Southern India, Poha is traditional and widely preferred breakfast recipe in Western states of India. This recipe is known as Pohe in Maharashtra and Poha in Gujarat and follows the same preparation method with poha (rice flakes) being the main ingredient.

Steps to make Poha:
  1. Wash the poha with water & put it in a strainer.
  2. Heat oil & roast the peanuts. Take them out.
  3. Cut the potatoes in small size & deep fry them. Take them out.
  4. Add mustard seeds in the same oil. when they turn brown, add onions & curry leaves, cook till they become translucent, now add all the ingredients & saute.
  5. Add ground tomatoes & all the veggies. cook on low flame for 5 minutes, now add poha, roasted peanuts & lemon juice.
  6. Cook for 2 minutes, mix it well.
  7. Serve hot with tea.
