Moru curry is Butter milk curry which is a famous and traditional recipe of Kerala. Moru in Malayalam refers to curd or yogurt. It is usually prepared with vegetables like ash gourd, yam, raw plantain, yellow cucumbers etc. Moru curry is very simple and easy recipe which is at the same time very tasty too.

To get started with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few components. You can have veg curd curry using 15 ingredients and 8 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Veg curd curry:
  1. Take 100 -150 gm Curd
  2. Prepare 2 tbsp Gramflour
  3. Take 9-10 roughly chopped Spring onion
  4. Take 1-2 hand full Green peas
  5. Make ready 1 pinch Asafoetida
  6. Prepare 1/2 inch Ginger(grated)
  7. Get 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  8. Make ready 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  9. Prepare 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  10. Prepare 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  11. Get 2-3 tbsp Refined oil
  12. Take 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  13. Get 2 Dry red chilli
  14. Prepare as needed Curry leaves
  15. Take to taste Salt

Preparation of the dish varies state wise in Kerala. Dahi Baingan Recipe is a unique brinjal curry with sauteed onions and tomatoes in spicy curd and besan gravy. Serve it along with Phulka Recipe or Pudina Tawa Paratha. You can also serve it with mild Saffron Pilaf Recipe (Kesar Pulao).

Steps to make Veg curd curry:
  1. Heat oil into pan, saute spring onions abd green peas and spring onion saute it for 3-4min on medium flame.
  2. Take it out side from pan.now add oil heat it than ginger and asfoetida saute it.than add gram flour fry it.till it's colour is golden.
  3. Now add turmeric powder,red chilli powder,coriander powder,cumin powder and fry it.than add beated curd into pan.
  4. Mix it well and fry now add water and salt into it.
  5. When it has boil add fried spring onion and green peas.mix it well and cook it for 10-12 min.on medium flame.
  6. Now for tadka heat oil add mustard seeds dry red chilli.
  7. When it cracks add curry leaves.than add it into gram flour curry.it's done mix it and off the flame pour it into bowl.
  8. Garnish it with hungcurd.serve it hot with Rice or Roti.

Serve it along with Phulka Recipe or Pudina Tawa Paratha. You can also serve it with mild Saffron Pilaf Recipe (Kesar Pulao). Whisk curd with water and keep aside. When the oil is hot, add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds and dry red chilies. Let them splutter for a few seconds.
