The ingredients needed to make Curd curry:
  1. Get For vada-
  2. Take 100 grams urad dal
  3. Make ready 25 grams Bengal gram Dal
  4. Make ready 6 green chillies
  5. Prepare 1 tablespoon Crushed ginger garlic paste
  6. Prepare 1 big onion finely chopped
  7. Get to taste Salt
  8. Make ready as required Curry and coriander leaves

  12. Take 1 tomato finely chopped
  13. Take 20 green chillies chopped finely
  14. Make ready 5 red chillies

  16. Make ready 2 tablespoons raw rice
  17. Take 2 tablespoons toor dal
  18. Get 2 Solid asafoetida, peanut size
  19. Make ready 1 tsp Mustard for seasoning
  20. Prepare 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
  21. Make ready 100 ml cooking oil

It is tangy and mildly spiced. An all-time favourite South Indian curd curry, the Mor kuzhambu, South Indian Curd Curry is marked by its mild tang, creamy mouth feel and rich taste. Nevertheless it is quite easy to make and uses common ingredients. It is basically whisked curd flavoured with a semi-spicy coconut paste.

Steps to make Curd curry:
  1. Soak both the Dal for 1 hour and then strain water. Grind it with green chilli to a coarse mixture and add ginger garlic paste onion curry and coriander leaves and salt to make a vada batter. Pour oil in a pan once it gets heated make vada.
  2. Take a pan add little oil fry solid asafoetida, ginger, green chilli and mix it with dal and rice, make a fine paste in a mixer jar.
  3. Take a pan add oil to it seasoning it with mustard then add red chilli, onion, tomato, curry leaves, turmeric powder and fry for five minutes then add grinding paste with 500 ml water, salt, mix and allow to boil for 10 minutes, then add beaten curd to it and again allow to boil for 5 minutes and turn off the stove.
  4. After five minutes add vada to it and allow to soak for 1/2 an hour, then it is ready to serve.

Nevertheless it is quite easy to make and uses common ingredients. It is basically whisked curd flavoured with a semi-spicy coconut paste. Take out the seeds and then cut it into small cubes. Instructions Take a mixer bowl, put curd, add besan, haldi and salt. Mix well.then on gas put kadai add small amount if oil.pour jeera, rai, hari mirch, curry patta, after that.when they were roasted deeply, add curd mixture.then add daniya.
