  2. In a cooker add tuvar dal, chopped tomatoes, 1/3 of chopped onion, turmeric powder,dhaniya powder, 2-3 drops of oil, curry leaves 5-6 coriander and take 4-5 whistle.
  3. Wash and chopped spinach
  4. In a kadai take oil,add ghee, mustard seeds cummin seeds, remaining chopped onion,garlic cloves and cooktill golden brown
  5. Add curry leaves and palak leaves and cook.
  6. In the dal add tamarind paste, jaggery and salt to taste.
  7. Now transfer dal to Kadai mix into palak mixture and Cook till it boils.

Remove from the flame and add the coriander leaves and lemon juice. Mix well and serve with rice or roti.
