  1. In a pressure cooker, add the ingredients mentioned in section cooked dal. Pressure cook for 4 whistles.

  3. Mash the cooked dal to a paste.
  4. In a pan, add oil. When the oil is heated then add mustard seeds, Cumin seeds, Curry leaves, Onion Chopped, Tomato Chopped, Turmeric Powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and saute.
  5. Add Masala paste and chopped palak, Stir well with 1/4 cup of water.
  6. Add the cooked dal and 1 cup of water. Add salt if necessary.
