  15. Take 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  16. Get 1 pod Garlic whole pod crushed
  17. Get 2 pinch Asofoetida in total
  18. Make ready to taste garam masala powder for bagaar

Add hing, cumin seeds, chopped garlic, dry red chilli, kasuri methi and little red chilli powder. The flavour is from cumin, chillies and asafoetida cooked very, very fast, to smoking point, in HOT ghee/oil and then added to the dal, leaving the smoke to infuse into the dal.   7. Pressure cook till 2 whistles or till done add required amount of water to it now your dal is ready
  8. Now lets prepare making tadka.Take oil add asofoetida
  9. Crushed garlic and slit green chillies
  10. Once garlic turns golden brown add curry leaves
  11. Add mustard and cumin seeds
  12. Chopped coriander leaves and kasuri methi
  13. Lastly add red chilli powder
  14. Put your bagaar in your dal
  15. Now here comes beautiful twist in your dal, heat coal and add this to your dal pour some ghee and garam masala powder on coal to give it awesome smoke.cover for 2 to 3 minutes
