  1. Get paratha as required
  2. Take for subji
  3. Get 1 cup cauliflowe
  4. Get 1/3 cup peas
  5. Get 1 big chopped aloo
  6. Make ready 1 big onion chopped
  7. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon mustard seed
  8. Get 1/2 teaspoon urad dhal small
  9. Get 1 tsp Hing /asafoetida
  10. Get to taste salt
  11. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon Dhaniya powder
  12. Get 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
  13. Get 1/2 teaspoon amchur
  14. Get handful curry pata

For roti, just mix and knead the flour of your choice, Whole wheat/ all purpose etc with a little salt and enough water to make a thick dough, keep aside for an hour and then make lemon size balls and flatten them to desired size and pan roast them on both sides with few drops of oil or butter. Prepare the masala by dry roasting the dhaniya, sesame, red chillies,cashew nuts and salt. Make into a paste, then add a little ghee and the beans, along with salt, and let it fry for few minutes.

Steps to make Platter of Dhal and Subji:
  1. In a deep kadai add oil mustard seeds, urad dhal turmeric powder curry pata and saute well. Then add onions to it and saute well with salt. Once done add chopped cauliflower,peas and aloo and the masala and cook well closed once cooked keep it open for a while and cook till all the raw smell goes.Note do not add too much water while cooking just sprinkle water. Serve with dhal and roti also goes very well with rice.

Prepare the masala by dry roasting the dhaniya, sesame, red chillies,cashew nuts and salt. Make into a paste, then add a little ghee and the beans, along with salt, and let it fry for few minutes.
