  2. Prepare 3 cup rice
  3. Prepare 1 cup udad dal
  4. Make ready 1/2 cup Curd
  5. Prepare to taste Salt

  7. Make ready 1 tsp Oil
  8. Make ready sambhar
  9. Make ready 1 cup Tuar dal
  10. Make ready 2 spoon Oil
  11. Get 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  12. Get 1/4 tsp Fenugreek seeds
  13. Make ready 6-7 Curry leaves
  14. Make ready 1 big Onion chopped
  15. Make ready 1 tsp Imli(tamarind) pulp
  16. Make ready 1 tsp Jeggery
  17. Prepare to taste Salt
  18. Prepare 1/4 tsp turmeric / Haldi Powder
  19. Take 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  20. Make ready 1 tsp Sambhar masala

Step by step photos: Firstly prepare sambar powder by roasting all the spices required and then grinding them into fine powder. Heat oil in a wok and add mustard seeds. Once they start spluttering add curry leaves,dry red chillies,asafoetida and garlic cloves. Fry well and add roughly chopped shallots.

Steps to make Idli sambhar:
  1. Soak rice and udad dal separately for 6 to 8 hours. Later pour all water and make idli better in mixture jar with the help of curd and water.rest idli better for 6 to 7 hrs.
  2. Now take 1/4 cup hot water, soda by carb and oil in a cup mix well and add this in the of idli…Add salt and mix well.now heat idli cooker with water and put idli better in idli plates which is already Grease with oil.steam it for 20 mins.
  3. For sambhar take tuverdal in the pressure cooker and make 3 to 4 whistle. Grind with blender..
  4. Take oil in a pan, when heated add mustard in it after that add fenugreek seeds and curry leaves in it… Add onion and green chilli saute this becomes pink.Now add tuverdal in it and add all masalas in it and mix well….Now add imli and Jeggery.Boil it for 10 mins. Serve with idli….
