Idli can be prepared from either plain rice or rice rava (aka Idli Rava or Cream of Rice), urad dal and fenugreek seeds. Instructions to make Rava idli:
  1. In a bowl mix Rava and yoghurt along with salt and curry leaves.. Leave it for 10 minutes.. After 10 minutes add water to adjust it's consistency..
  2. Now apply little oil on idli stand and pour the batter in each portion..
  3. Heat water in a big vessel keep a stand in it and place the idli stand nicely and cover the lid for 12-15 minutes on middium flame..
  4. Once done check with the help of toothpick cool it a little and remove from the stand.. Make all the idlis in the same way..
  5. Rava idli is ready to serve.. Enjoy plain or with chutney or tomato ketchup..
