The ingredients needed to make Chicken Roast:
  1. Make ready 450 gms Zorabian Breast Boneless Chicken
  2. Take 1 Juice of Lemon
  3. Make ready 1 tbsp Ginger Paste
  4. Get 1 tbsp Garlic Paste
  5. Take 1 tbsp Black Pepper Powder
  6. Take 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  7. Prepare 1 tbsp Everest Chicken Masala
  8. Make ready 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  9. Prepare to taste Salt
  10. Make ready 3-4 tbsp Oil
  11. Get 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
  12. Prepare pinch Asafoetida
  13. Make ready as needed Few Peppercorns
  14. Make ready 2 Cardamoms
  15. Make ready 1 inch stick Cinnamon
  16. Prepare 2 Cloves
  17. Take 1 Bay Leaf
  18. Make ready 2 Onions (Cut lengthwise)
  19. Make ready 4-6 Green Chillies (Chopped)
  20. Make ready 1 spring Curry Leaves

Remove and discard the plastic pop-up timer from chicken if there is one. Mix margarine, garlic salt, black pepper, thyme, parsley, and rosemary in a bowl and rub the outside of the chicken thoroughly with the margarine mixture. Most roast chicken recipes call for a shallow roasting pan fitted with a rack to elevate the bird. This ensures that hot air will circulate around the chicken, giving every inch a crispy, golden brown bake.

Steps to make Chicken Roast:
  1. Wash the chicken pieces well and drain out the water completely.
  2. In a large bowl, add chicken pieces, lemon juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, black pepper powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, Everest chicken masala and salt. Marinate for few hours or overnight.
  3. Steam cook the marinated chicken. ie. Keep the marinated chicken in a closed container and cook in rice or idli steamer for about 30 minutes. The Masala in the chicken should be thick. If not, reduce it's water content by keeping it in a pan on medium flame. You can also microwave it for about 15 minutes.
  4. Heat oil. Add mustard seeds, asafoetida, peppercorns, cardamoms, cinnamon, cloves and bay leaf.
  5. Add green chillies, curry leaves and saute for 30 seconds. Add onions and fry till the onions are golden brown in colour.
  6. Add the steamed chicken and coriander leaves and saute for few minutes till the onions absorb the flavours in the chicken.
  7. Serve warm. Goes well as a side dish with rice, dal, curd curry etc. Can also be used to make sandwiches.

Rub seasonings over outside and inside of chickens. Tuck under wings; tie together drumsticks.
