  16. Take 1 tsp fennel seed powder
  17. Prepare 2 cardamoms
  18. Take 4 cloves

Marinate the chicken with kasoori methi, chili flakes, half table spoon of salt and one table spoon vegetable oil. You can optionally add the curd while marinating as well. When the onion paste gets a little browned, add in the marinade and chicken, stir and cook on medium heat till the chicken and masala paste mixture starts releasing its own fat. Now add the ghee/ vegetable/ canola/ sunflower oil.

  1. Marinate chicken with little salt and lemon juice for 15 minutes.Heat oil in a pan and lightly fry the pieces.Set aside.Fry the sliced onion golden brown.Cool and make a paste of it alongwith sesame seeds, ginger garlic paste and curd.Sprinkle half crushed whole garam masala and black pepper.Add the masala paste and chicken and fry.

Add tomato puree,1 pinch red food colour,malai or fresh cream,salt,kasoori methi,turmeric,red chilli powder and kitchen king masala.Fry till oil leaves sides Add 1.5 cups water and cook covered in low flame till it's done and masala coats chicken.Add crushed roasted fennel seed powder and garam masala.Sprinkle chopped coriander and toss. Garnish with green and red chillies and serve with any Indian flat bread.
